How to get to “Il Duomo” Holiday home

We are in the old town of Salerno in the Bottheghelle street 55

by car
Getting from the south on the A3 or from north on A3 or A30.
Take Salerno Centro and follow center directions up to the old town gates (Via roma – Santa Lucia or Diocesan Museum – Via Bastioni)

*Il Duomo it’s located in the heart of old town within a limited traffic area, the acces is reseved only for the inhabitants.
To get around this problem it’s possibile to request a valid permission for any pass in the limited trafic area gates, during the stay.
The request will’be carried out by our staff when you will get to the holiday home.
To park your car you can use the public parking or a parking that has an agreement with “Il duomo”

by train
the railway station is only 1 km away, you can reach the holiday home by walking in about 15/20 minutes. It can be an enjoying walk, through the main commercials streets of the city as Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via dei Mercanti both streets are pedestrian.
There is also a smaller railway station “Salerno Duomo” served by regional trains.
If you would arrive to Salerno from Naples by a regional train you can use this station due to the closeness to Casa Vacanze “il Duomo”

by city bus
Especially who reach Salerno by Train can use the city bus service of urban lines of CSTP Company. First of all the following lines: 4 – 5 – 9 from the railway station to via Roma ( Palazzo della Provincia) stop. The you can continue by walking up to via Botteghelle passing through the most central streets of Via dei Mercanti and Via Duomo

The line 44 starts from the railway station up to Duomo stop a few steps from Casa Vacanze “il Duomo”

The line 43 starts from Teatro Verdi, up to Duomo stop a few steps from Casa Vacanze “il Duomo”

You can reach Teatro Verdi Stop throgh the lines 4 – 5 – 9 from the Railway Station.
